Does anyone have experience with starting up (or facilitating)
an Adopt-A-Gardener or similar one-on-one gardening mentoring programs? In my
community, we have determined we do not currently have interest/need for a
centralized rent-a-plot community garden. This is largely because we are a
rural community with plenty of space for gardening. However, we have a need
for interested inexperienced individuals to receive personal mentoring in
gardening, in order to ensure first season success, and increase the
possibility of developing life-long gardeners. Our group has therefore
resolved to establish a matching program to pair experienced willing gardeners
with those interested in learning to garden. I'm wondering if anyone has
experience, resources, contracts & other documents, etc. to address this
project.
Thanks!
Bethann
