Dear Gardening Friends-
We are looking for examples of larger community gardens (greater that 1/3 acre) on publicly accessible rooftop spaces. We are hoping to convince the State that this is a viable option for them to consider. The garden at risk is a long standing (27 years) and wonderfully diverse group that presently occupies close to an acre of very prime real estate that is slated for intensive development. We have written it into the development approval that an on-site option is to be considered for evaluation but need good examples to press our case most effectively.
