Dear all, Wow, judging from the many responses we have received from community gardening organizations around the country, there is a lot of need for, and interest in, database and website systems designed for community gardens and related organizations. I certainly know it was a great need for us. I have briefly chatted with the folks who designed our system, and they feel that it would need to be tweaked to be replicable to other organizations, but that it is definitely possible. Of course, this takes funding. So, if anyone knows of funding available for capacity building projects like this, please do let me know. We would be happy to take the lead on modifying our customized system to be rolled out to a diverse group of community garden-related users (or would be equally happy to pass along the project to someone else). Folks from ACGA...any thoughts?
Also, if I have not responded to individual emails right away it is because there were a lot and this is a super busy time of year for us (we are in the midst of Chicken Week right now! https://wasatchgardens.org/learn-and-participate/chicken-week).
