Check out the scarecrow motion detector sprinklers Diann. You only need one or two of them. They don't need to go all the way around your garden. They will spray approximately 30' radius. I also string pennant flags around the garden. They won't go under them. We only have two entrances without the flags and that's where I have the two sprinklers. Also works on woodchucks and other small animals. My dad used just the flags around his vegetable garden in the middle of the woods in the upper peninsula of Michigan for years. Sounds so simple that people never believe that they work but they really do. Judy
