Volunteer handbook would be helpful for me as well. If anyone has a digital copy please feel free to share :)
I would suggest incorporating a Master gardener program with a client (assuming capability), this way they can get the credentials to teach gardening as well. Its resume friendly and a great stepping stone into horticultural work with minimal cost and education. They can use the education in coordination with a community garden. they could utilize the CG as a project plot & fulfill the time requirements for a benevolent cause. (ie Childrens learning garden, hands on classes for inexperienced people or raise a plot for a pantry) Does this help? Does anyone have a Volunteer Handbook they would be willing to share.....we're just getting started and it would help. Would anyone be able to provide reports, possibly even job descriptions, or articles that account for the capacity for community gardens to be used as spaces for individuals to get work experience and transferable skills?
