I have a pure CE site running installed as a plugin. The webapp that
it is plugged into is empty. I now want to create standard rails
content, i.e. created with scaffolding in the app directory. When I
run this on localhost it works fine and http://localhost:3000/producers
shows me a table full of data as expected.
When I upload this to heroku, the new controller is no longer accessed
and I am redirected to the user login screen. The Heroku log shows
me ...

So the heroku version automatically send me to the UsersController
where user "producers" doesn't exist.
I guess that this is related to the routes.rb file but am not clear
whether I should modify the file in the plugin or in the config/
directory.
Any advice ?
