I play around quite often with MS Basic, a copy I found somewhere on the net. Okay, it's a MacroHard (err, MicroSoft) product, but its similiarity to QBasic for the PC makes it an ideal platform to tinker around with. I've recompiled a small number of astronomy programs to run on it (MS Basic (Binary)). Also, there's Chipmunk Basic 3.5.2. This should work with System 6. Check 'em out...
