Wow, didn't know I'd stumbled upon something new! :-) Yea, the system will
boot up into 7.1, however, it will only display 256 colors. I tried to get
the system enabler. In fact, I just went ahead and downloaded the Color
Classic enabler pack off the FAQ to my PC. I still cannot get ahold of
Stuffit Expander for Windows. I did get Mind Expander for the PC and for the
first time got the hqx file to be "expanded" to an actual file folder. Using
Apple File Exchange, I took the PC file on the disk and "translated" it to
the CC, which actually recognized it as a "file folder" instead of a
document. However, I've loaded and moved it to the System Folder, the HD,
and the Extensions Folder, rebooting each time, but it hasn't changed a
thing--I still get the refusal screen and have to invoke the debugger. Do I
have to put this file folder in the system "suitcase", or is it still not
the right format?? This is the first file that has not shown as a document
the the Mac wants to open as a Teach Text document, then tells me the doc is
too big for Teach Text and does nothing (groan!). What am I doing wrong?
I've read both the CC and the LEM FAQ as well as a few other pages and can't
seem to get it. Maybe I'm just "special" :-). Later!

You need an Enabler. More info in the FAQ or at

Interesting that you were able to get around it by simply invoking the
debugger, however. Never heard of that before.
