So 6 takes more RAM than 7? I don't know much about this, but that seems 
unreasonable.

Stripping PPC code out wouldn't decrease memory requirements, would it? I 
thought only 68k code was loaded into RAM on a 68k Mac. Also, how would you 
strip it out?

Just wondering...
