The 6500 board _does_ have edge connectors. That's how the video / HD / FD
etc signals get to and from the 'outside' - just like in a 5500. They're
almost identical. Gestalt IDs are the only obvious difference, though I
seem to remember a subtle distinction between 5400 and 6400 boards that
affected G3 compatibility.
