Sure, so boot from HD, then switch to RAMDISK and disconnect the HD, 
leaving safely on the ground. FWIW I'd fancy an old l/b from a desktop 
surviving the stresses of a rocket better than an l/b from a PB - 
starting with board thickness and the unsubtle connectors!
