I'm the last person to ask, but in a local library, a lady does dtp and related work (G3 with Fiery server for the Minolta color printer, etc). She remembers using a Mac SE to do similar work waaay back when. OTH, Photoshop 3 (Classic) was only enhanced up to v.6, then switched to OS X, etc. In DTP, the more things change, the more they remain the same. Digital hub - in the mid-90's, Connectix made a B&W digicam (serial, of course) that could do streaming video, but the cables weren't laid. Today, only 5% of US fibreoptic capacity is being used. Apple was ahead of its time back then. Steve Job's harangue (i.e. speech) in your home town, William, a few days ago showed the frustration with and ignorance of market conditions. Linux types are simply forging ahead because profitability is not their raison d'etre. 'Nuff said. George
