As you say the printer will reset automatically when moving between the 
System 6 and System 7.x LW drivers. This isn't a problem if you are the 
sole user of the printer but it builds up delays and frustrations when 
several people are trying to use the printer. I wonder if it is 
possible to copy the PostScript header information from one driver set 
into the other to eliminate the reset. Sorry, but I don't have a PS 
printer at home to try this on.
