Everything seems to have gone just fine. It was indeed a bit
difficult to get that fluid metal to stuck to the battery, but after
some trying it did. I used the pistol, thinking that was for the
delicate soldering stuff, but now I had a closer look to that other
soldering device in the plastic briefcase and I noticed that this one
was more like the device described in one of your other mails. It is
a grounded 30 watt screwdriver shaped thing. The pistol I used was a
100 watt device. Guess that was a bit overkill...
It is all new to me, but it is interesting. I just love these gadgets.
There is one item in the briefcase that is alien to me. It has a
shape of an injection device, a bit like the ones you can use in the
kitchen for putting cream on a cake, but somewhat smaller. A 'doctors
needle' might be a better description, only without the needle.
Anyone know what that might be?
