If it makes you feel any less cross, I'm sending a part to a fellow in Belgium. I've never shied away from sending across the pond. In the years I've done it, I've had only a couple of minor problems.
I'm touched by the interest in all-things Mac that exists in the EU.

I've been selling Beige G3 ROMs for about a year. Of the 120 plus shipments, three have gone astray, two to New York (the state) and one to El Cajon California (assuming the recipients told the truth). I've had six shipments to Canada, one to Japan, three to the UK, two to France, and one each to Australia, the Netherlands, Germany and Mexico. None of my international shipments have gone astray.
The only extra effort for the international shipments is to fill out the very simple customs form and stick it to the package, and this does not prevent one from being able to just drop it in an outgoing mail box if one knows the postage.
Of course, the people on this list are probably not the ones who need the pep talk about the ease and reliability of international shipping.
