Hi, I have a Mac Plus whereby the date and time will not work. It can be set but the date and time only advances after the machine has been on for a few hours or more. The battery has been replaced in the back of the machine with a new battery and this battery is good because I have tested it on a machine which does not have this problem and it works fine.
I cleared the PRAM in an attempt to fix the problem but that doesn't help. I think there may be a bad component in the Mac. If so, which components should I check?
