FYI...

I found good information at:
http://home.earthlink.net/~gamba2/images/plus_analog.PDF

I static tested the components for the 5V output from power supply output T3
thru the capacitors and diodes to pin 11 of J4 and all appears well. I
resoldered each pin along this path and the problem appears to be fixed. :)

Subject: Date and Time Problem Mac Plus And It's Not The Battery

Hi,

I have a Mac Plus whereby the date and time will not work. It can be set
but the date and time only advances after the machine has been on for a few
hours or more. The battery has been replaced in the back of the machine
with a new battery and this battery is good because I have tested it on a
machine which does not have this problem and it works fine.

I cleared the PRAM in an attempt to fix the problem but that doesn't help.

I think there may be a bad component in the Mac. If so, which components
should I check?

Thanks,

Chris
