I never paid much atention to the compact units. Until one day I saw my first Color Classic. I was seriously in love. It was in perfect condition, but the guy at the recylcler said it was dead - it wouldn't start. Dead. Finito. Toast. I did not believe it. I bought it and two Mac ll-somethings for 20.00. I figured out the double power switch oddity, and IT WAS PERFECT. Later that year I acquired another CC, free, because 'it was dead'. You guessed it. I love Macintosh!
