Oh - that story sounds familiar! I picked up my Mac Classic II at the office, just as the production manager was about to mark it for the garbage bin! I have another one, same model, that refuses to boot and keeps asking for a disk - I'm not technically proficient enough to know what to do about that. I have a feeling that it can't locate the hard drive. It would be nice if I could repair it for a friend who loves all things Mac.
