I tend to agree with Stuart -- and you're not being negative, Stuart, just
realistic. However, I suspect the SE/30 will more than justify the packing
and "handling" fee. Compacts for parts are just kind of pointless to sell,
especially if the analogue board is what's not working. I would list them
both for $.99 as is anyone is going to buy them at all they'll be willing to
pay for the shipping, but little more -- If the computer is actually worth
anything, the low price will attract a lot of attention and the market will
drive the price up, sometime more than it's worth as people remember that
$.99 price and even though they are overbidding think they are still getting
a deal. The only time to use the reserve price is if you are fishing for the
value of your item, or if it is particularly valuable and you want to make
sure you have every opportunity to sell it for what it's worth. If you truly
want to get rid of it, getting a premium on ebay should be of little
concern, particularly since ebay charges you for just about everything now,
including a reserve price auction.

Lastly, you might be better off selling the SE/30 as an fully working
"upgraded" SE, if the case is as bad as you as you say it is. It would be a
simple matter to transfer the SE/30 guts into the SE case -- a common
procedure in the original SE/30 upgrade for the SE with the original chassis
that was too low for the SE/30 logic board (It came with a new chassis and
bezel). However, later SEs had the same chassis and did not need to switch
bezels to use the new logic board. Any expansion card seems to cause a
bidding fever regardless of how useful it is (but specify that it is an
SE/30 expansion card to avoid confusion is you sell it in the SE case).
Also, depending on what the Radius card is, you might get more for it if
it's not tied to SE/30 which someone might already have. Then, sell just the
SE logic board by itself which is valuable for just the Superdrive SWIM and
ROMs alone and costs much less to ship. Good luck!
