This is true. I am very fond of my C2, but it's struggling now --
sound faint & developing the dreaded SimasiMac on startup sometimes. I
have just got a free dishwasher so I guess my next step is clear.

But I do fancy an SE/30. What I'd really love is an SE/30 with A/UX.
And I've just found 1 for 99p on eBay UK from the Japanese repair
page's Search function. Oohh... Temptation!

Is there any way to mod a dead or dying C2 that would let MacOS 8.1
run on it? Replacement main board or something?
