This is a myth. ALL versions of OS X support AppleTalk over Ethernet.

Thanks to this and my G5 list, I was able to buy an Asante EN/SC ethernet adapter, max out my SE's RAM, install System 7.5.3, install the Asante drivers, and not only access my G5 over the network, but vice-versa. G5 is running OS X 10.3.9, and my SE is running System 7.5.3, and they network great.

Thanks to all who helped!

HOW? :-)

I can't get anything lower than 8.1 to talk to my 10.3.9 B&W. Did you have to change a setting on the G5?
