You're right ... E minor. I never thought to check, even being a musician
and all-along appreciating its siren-song. I don't know about goose-pimply,
but all other drives pale by comparison to the charm of the 400k. That red
light really does it for me too. I find it hard to believe your 400k is not
repairable. Most often it is the speed at which the disk spins and head
alignment that results in poor data transfer. A good cleaning might restore
it to its tuneful self. Check the Mac FAQs for clear and easy details.
