Here's a description of what whould happen with Sun copyright updates. When code containing a Sun copyright has been significantly modified, the year on the Sun copyright is updated. If changes to code are not significant modifications, the year in the Sun copyright is not updated..... Significant modification means changes that result in a change to the object code and changes to comments that are significant enough to be considered documentation. Significant modifications do not include minor changes to comments, updates to copyrights, C-style changes, changes to licensing, or fixes to ident strings.
