It was all still hardcoded last time I worked on the freeware gate (year 
and half ago now though). But I used the PUFA utility mainly to update 
packages in the gate and that automatically updated the entries in the 
installer files, so it made it relatively easy.

Mike you are probably right (my memory is not that good), but I don't 
remember setting it when I set up the s9 freeware gate and I assumed it 
got it at build time from the system along with the date/time.

It would be nice to know though what these packages were built on ?
