Tested with Windows Explorer on Windows Vista Business (Version 6.0, Build: 6001 Service Pack 1) with IE 7.0.6001.18000. 1. When you create a folder in top level and give it the name, you have to refresh current view to get that folder name updated. 2. When you remove top level folder, you can still see that removed folder but you can't access it (because it is not there). (Vista returns code 0x80070035, The network path was not found) 3. Explorer allows to create e.g new OpenOffice Writer file in the folder (folder name contains some Polish chars in name), however this operation fails with code: Error 0x80070057: The parameter is incorrect.
