I stopped at a Wawa convenience store for gas today. Next to the pump is a display with applications for their Visa card. It's a "blink" card [RFID] from Chase.

Does this kind of card come with a protective cover to keep it from "blinking" without your knowledge? Can the RFID reader and computer find it in an aluminum mylar cover, as used for the E-ZPass?

Are these "blink" cards a good or bad idea? thx.

Betty
