most are now compatible with all others. ear comfort and being able to hear
the thing are the two most important features. most devices lay over the ear,
including the very popular motorolas. I cannot hear them. I have a
plantronics that has the "speaker" that sticks into the ear.

check with somebody like buy.com

they usually have a bunch for cheap.

the return policy is important.

my wife's favorite cost something like $15. worked well as a headphone.
failed as a doorstop, and have not been able to replace it.
