There aren't many of these things out on the market yet but every description I have seen is that they will be similar to a cable box. AC power seems to be the norm but some one might go out on that limb with a DC compatible one. Of course they sell boxes to make AC from DC. I suspect it will be easier to get a Digital TV powered by DC.
