I have had drives do that and then continue to work fine for years. Drives are funny beasts and hard to predict. Since drives are cheap, it might be worth it for your piece of mind to replace the drive. You can get an ond copy of Ghost online for around $30. That will copy drive to drive while doing fancy file recovery at teh same time.
