Ah... as much as I wish you were right Tom. But that's not problem. The problem seems to have been more severe the past few days - one advantage of having the flu is getting caught up on all my Tivo'd shows.
The problem I'm having is when I change a channel either through the guide or the Tivo remote, the channel that it tries to change to is different. For example, if I try to change to 296 and I'm already on 249, Tivo tries to change to 2296 or 2 or 96. I'm assuming the same thing happens when a season pass recording tries to record too. Tivo thinks it's tuned in the correct channel, but from having seen the first few seconds of a record, the DirecTV information banner (or whatever it's called) shows a different channel. Tivo's phone support's been pretty clueless so far. I suppose I could drive to the headquarters and ask for help, but I suspect that won't get me much. Try Autorecord instead and it will record the show by name on whatever channel. ************************************************************************* ** List info, subscription management, list rules, archives, privacy ** ** policy, calmness, a member map, and more at http://www.cguys.org/ ** ************************************************************************* ************************************************************************* ** List info, subscription management, list rules, archives, privacy ** ** policy, calmness, a member map, and more at http://www.cguys.org/ ** *************************************************************************
