Happy New year...hate to start it off with yet another, recurrent problem, but.....
A few months ago speaker volume became low; about half the previous volume at a given setting. When I replaced the CMOS battery (after getting low battery voltage warnings) the volume returned to normal. About a week ago, however, the low volume problem has returned, though not getting any similar low battery voltage messages or problems booting up as before. Any thoughts on what's wrong or how to trouble shoot? I don't have another device around to test the speakers to see if that is the problem, but is that likely?
