I use both. I prefer the view finder, but their are times I want to actually pay attention to what I also want to get a picture of. A good example of this is a whale watch I went on in Hawaii. Had I used the view finder exclusively I'd have missed a lot of great viewing.

 I'm a viewfinder person myself if for no other reason than any
