Actually web developers code sites following W3C standards and then spend 
hours cursing as they have to apply one MS-specific hack after another.

that everyone uses MP3 format, exactly as they should.

Silverlight is a Johhny-come-lately, mee-too product that MS is now 
trying to shove down people's throats "because we can".
