Just to support the significance of the IR signal plot-
all signals are from the same original remote key:
- 1st : way too far away from the Harmony, nothing received at all
- 2nd : just a little bit too far away from the Harmony, almost right
- 3rd/4th : perfect
- 5th : between 1st and 2nd, receiving something that's complete rubbish
For the original Windows software from Logitech, I'm not sure whether
it's the driver before or the server after posting that checks the validity
of the learned code - once I have added en-/decoding stuff to libIRremotes,
concordance should be able to do some automatic checking as well.
Note that concordance now by default learns immediately resp. uploads
the learned code when you just press <enter> at the choices.
