This is what I'd expect. I had the logic backwards, sorry, thanks for trying
it both ways.

So it's possible for us to find the remote... now we need to understand
better how the other software talks to it.

Can you do two things for us:

1. Get a SnoopyPro dump of a normal firmware upgrade in windows when the
remote is healthy
2. Get a SnoopyPro dump of a firmware upgrade in windows when the remote is
in it's safemode
