OK,

I added a dependence on zziplib, but it now works fairly seemlessly:

  [p...@rider tmp]$ sudo concordance /tmp/w/ZUpdate.hcu -w
  Concordance 0.22+CVS
Copyright 2007 Kevin Timmerman and Phil Dibowitz
This software is distributed under the GPLv3.

  Requesting Identity: 100% done
Writing Config: 100% 367 KiB done
  Setting Time: done
  Success!

(the -w just says to skip the web communication).

At this point the overall web stuff mostly works, but I have to look at
tcpdumps from the official software (I'll create some tomorrow when I have a
windows box) to see what additional magic we need to send to their
webserver, because we're missing something at the moment.

Once that's done, I have to re-work the APIs a bit, still, but they're not
so horrible at this point, I've done some work on them.

At that point, I'll send a patch for feedback.... week, or 2 tops.

I'm moving from Switzerland back to the states at the end of September, so
I'd like to get this all wrapped up before then... as I won't be doing any
serious development for a month or so once the move commences.
