Debian Oldstable (Codename "Lenny", supported until Feb 2012) has
xulrunner 1.9.0.

But there are backports of xulrunner 1.9.1 available for Lenny, so if
anyone runs Nightlies on Debian Lenny (*pondering* No, I don't think I
do anymore :-), either an update to the current Debian Stable
(Codename "Squeeze") or the usage of xulrunner backports would be
necessary.
I think with moving to xulrunner 1.9.1 and above, even the Debian
packaging would benefit a little bit but getting a little bit easier.
:-)
Kind regards, Axel
