Sagita Mirjam Sunara asked about consolidating ink inscriptions on ceramic. We have found that it is possible to consolidate using a solution of Paraloid B72 in acetone without the surface darkening, provided the object is kept in an enclosure with a small container of acetone to slow down evaporation from the consolidate, allowing it to penetrate further and more evenly. I would recommend practicing on some similar ceramic materials first. Hope this helps.
