think i got the one that work on my ftp (unsure, should tho' for b/u)
from what i understand, they did alittle work on i/o stuff. He (

rebuild their kernels, it works. Well, i know this (done that a quite a few
times!) , but i think i'm trying to stick with what mandrakes team is doing and
not customize the kernel yet!
reverted to 12.15.1999 (or 16 or 17 dunno which) and works fine.
following the instructions on the url above helps and i've changed the makefile
to show smp=yes and modversions=yes and worked (w/ the smp=auto and mod=y,
didn't install -- dunno why not and haven't wen't into reinstalling the drivers
again to change smp=y and mod=auto or reverse..... eh eh. you'll notice if you
don't and it does the makefile you'll see smp=no and modversions=no, at least i
did on mine any ways.)
