Hi,

I didn't yet try this in 7.1, but in 7.0 it drove me crazy: why the
'secure' kernel, which I'd like to use because of its name ;-) is ONLY
SMP? There are still issues with SMP in Linux, and on a UP machine it's
at least a bit slower and less stable anyway. I tried to recompile it as
UP, but got compiler errors in some headers. Of course, one can always
download and recompile a stock kernel, but the name 'secure' implies
that some useful patches are applied, isn't it?

Has something changed with this in 7.1?

Thank you

Alexander
