/etc/sysconfig% grep SYSFONT i18n
SYSFONTACM=iso15
#SYSFONT=lat0-16
SYSFONT=ter-114b

Unset the SYSFONT variable and the font wont be loaded. Or you can move
another font to /etc/sysconfig/console/consolefonts and specify that
font.
