It's questionable whether it's appropriate to store the database in that location.  
Maybe the config file should be patched to store the db somewhere else, then the SPEC 
could make the dir as Nick suggests.  What do people here think?

Anyway, [EMAIL PROTECTED] needs be let in on whatever the proper solution is.
