HT is supported, IIRC the original 0.13mdk did not show the 2nd
processor (since the 6-line patch to the /proc/cpuinfo interface to
display this was not applied), but IIRC 0.18mdk and later *do*. I am
using -22mdk from the MandrakeClub (thanks to Danny) which was the first
publicly availbale kernel for 9.1 to support ACLs (which we need):

[EMAIL PROTECTED] bgmilne]# cat /etc/mandrake-release
Mandrake Linux release 9.1 (Bamboo) for i586
[EMAIL PROTECTED] bgmilne]# uname -a
Linux hermes.cae.co.za 2.4.21-0.22mdksmp #1 SMP Tue Jun 17 23:35:24 CEST
2003 i686 unknown unknown GNU/Linux
[EMAIL PROTECTED] bgmilne]# grep processor /proc/cpuinfo
processor : 0
processor : 1

The machine in question is a Dell 1600SC with one 2GHz Xeon.

Sometime we will be able to reboot this machine, and try 0.25mdk.

Regards,
Buchan
