If it is looping all the time with sigalrm, then yes, it is a bug with nvidia drivers I am experiencing as well.
(I thought they fixed it, but all they did I think is disable renderaccel by default, which makes it less likely to occur, but bug is still there, at least IMHO, but who can tell without source..) d.
