------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-22-08 16:41 -------
It is a KDE flaw.
KDE don't use VFS and instead use normal desktop file for Trash and Home put in
~/Desktop.
This can't be correct unless KDE use some virtual filesystem or use an other
location for their Trash/Desktop icon.
On top of that under gnome you can't see the icon image as gnome look for them
in his hierarchy, so there should have the absolute path for the icon for these
2 desktop file, or at least 2 icons in gnome hierarchy with the same name.

So the solution is on the side of Laurent MONTEL ( KDE team )

When you have launched KDE and GNOME, you can see a "Home.desktop" file and a
"Trash" directory. They come from KDE desktop and they shouldn't be displayed
on GNOME desktop.
