It could be normal, urpmi.update now check with md5sum of file downloaded and file present. In this case, it check MD5SUM file (distant) with saved md5sum of the file to download to check if they are identical. To force download, use -f --no-md5sum as -f is needed to avoid timestamps and size checking. François.
