So it is probably a chip set/kernel interference. Therefore I pass this bug to the kernel package. For the kernel guys being able to help, please - tell which motherboard and which camera you have - tell whether you have USB 1.1 or 2.0 - post /proc/bus/usb/devices - post the output of "lspcidrake -v" -- Configure bugmail: http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: gphoto 2.1.2 is not able to get picture from my camera via usb. The camera is recognised, but transfert fail when triying to get the first picture. It's not a gphoto2 problem since i run gphoto2 2.1.2 (compiled from tarball) without any problem on my mdk 9.0 box. it seems to be a low level usb problem
