------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-09-09 14:17 -------
I cannot reproduce the bug on my machines with my cameras (both 9.1 and Cooker).
So it is probably a chip set/kernel interference. Therefore I pass this bug to
the kernel package.

For the kernel guys being able to help, please

- tell which motherboard and which camera you have

- tell whether you have USB 1.1 or 2.0

- post /proc/bus/usb/devices

- post the output of "lspcidrake -v"

description:
gphoto 2.1.2 is not able to get picture from my camera via usb. The camera is
recognised, but transfert fail when triying to get the first picture.

It's not a gphoto2 problem since i run gphoto2 2.1.2 (compiled from tarball)
without any problem on my mdk 9.0 box.

it seems to be a low level usb problem
