[EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED Resolution| |WORKSFORME ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-16-09 18:06 ------- It may be that the first run of update-alternatives causes a problem. I might need to prerequire rpm to ensure update-alternatives is installed? I will see if I have time to test installing with samba-client chosen during installation ... Anyway, it seems mostly fixed (and it was due to an update-alternatives issue). -- Configure bugmail: http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: RESOLVED creation_date: description: I have the following line in /etc/fstab: //kalitka/public /mnt/smb smbfs dmask=777,fmask=777,guest 0 0 kalitka is a server which is up running and accessible through ssh, e.g. public area IS accessible too: this did work in LM9.2rc1 and still working on another machine under LM9.1 When I try to mount /mnt/smb the following is reported by dmesg: smbfs: mount_data version 1935764836 is not supported I tried to redefine samba mount point through drakconf.
