I have done a slight modification on CUPS to avoid the necessity of inserting a
"ServerName" line in /etc/cups/cupsd.conf. To test, please do the following (as
root, if "wget" gives "Command not found", do "urpmi wget" at first):

wget http://www.linuxprinting.org/till/tmp/cups-1.1.19-10mdk.tar.bz2
tar -xvjf cups-1.1.19-10mdk.tar.bz2
rpm -Fvh RPMS/i586/*.rpm

Start printerdrake, click "Configure CUPS" and turn on "Automatic correction of
CUPS configuration" again. Click "OK" and leave printerdrake.

Check /etc/cups/cupsd.conf. It should not contain any active "ServerName" line.
Even if the command "hostname" on your box answers with "localhost" or
"localhost.localdomain" a restart of CUPS should not produce a "ServerName" line
and broadcasting of your local printers to other machines should be no problem.
On the other machines "lpstat -v" should show your local printers with the IP
address of your machine in the "ipp://..." URI.

Administration of your printers via web interface should always work now, even
if you change your network environment without rebooting or if you use Zeroconf.
If you do not restart CUPS, wait one minute and CUPS will pick up all changes
automatically.
